Your digital relay

Keep your computer active while you step away.

Zuturno is your digital relay: step away from your desk without your computer going to sleep, locking the screen or marking you as away. It runs locally, in the background, until you're back.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions

Zuturno is your digital relay: it keeps your computer active when you step away from the keyboard. The idea is simple: a short break shouldn't interrupt what you left open. Turn it on, take the break you need —lunch, a personal errand, some rest— and when you come back, your computer is awake and your sessions are still open.

Zuturno runs in the background and, with hidden mode, shows no windows on screen so it doesn't get in your way while you work or rest. It's a personal automation tool, not a tool for deceiving anyone: if your job has rules about activity or permitted software, check them before using it.

Zuturno works at the operating-system level, so it isn't tied to any particular application on Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+. It keeps your computer awake and your session open (no sleep mode, lock screen or signed-out session), so downloads, renders, long-running processes and remote connections aren't interrupted while you step away. We can't guarantee how each third-party application measures or reports activity (see the Terms, clause 2).

Yes. We ship updates to keep Zuturno working on new versions of Windows and macOS. Every update is included at no extra cost while your subscription is active.

A jiggler nudges the cursor a few pixels in a repetitive way, and many free apps only stop the computer from sleeping. Zuturno combines mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, app switching and, on Windows, keyboard activity, with a frequency and intensity you configure, so you choose the kind of activity your computer keeps while you're away.

Zuturno works on computers running Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later, and you download it from this website (it's not in the Mac App Store). A Linux version is planned. It's not available for tablets or iPad, since it needs to run as a desktop application.
